How-To Measure Your Space

For all but the easiest designs specific room measurements are critical. Importantly, you must also look carefully at the room to determine whether there are any impediments to a successful installation, such as:

ceiling fans
pipes
air ducts
soffits
baseboards
switches
window sills

Use the following perspective as a guide. Getting the relevant measurements gives us the best chance of fulfilling your goals and can save you at least one trip to our store. Be as accurate as possible (no guessing or rounding inches).

On Saturday night we took our two 7 yr old grandchildren to see the Nutcracker and we talked about the hidden bed, and of course they wanted to come over to "find it".
